The owner, Petar Ćurlin, has come up with it, projected and even built it by himself. One can reach the hotel only by using steep and long stairs and that enhances the experience of that belvedere neither in the sky nor on the earth. Standing on both of the terraces (one of which has a whirlpool bath) one feels superior with the view stretching towards the Island of Brač.
It reminds you a bit of similar luxurious buildings in Switzerland or France, but it is on the most serious way to become the first “house of zeroth energy” in this part of Europe. Mr.Ćurlin has used the energy potentials of the Cetina River and made a power station working on the principle of using the difference in temperature of the river water.
